Last weekend, I finally got to visit the Museum of Ice Cream in Miami. It was all I had hoped for and more! Although I had seen photos, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. But it was a dream come true.

From the sprinkle pool to the pink sand castles, this interactive adventure played to my childlike nature, and I was thrilled at each turn. Plus, you got to eat some yummy ice cream along the way.

Visiting the Museum of Ice Cream

Of course, it wouldn’t be a museum without teaching you a few fun facts…One of my favorites was learning that in 2008, PETA requested Ben & Jerry’s use breast milk instead of cow’s milk to make ice cream. (Yikes!) This was understandably rejected, and lactating women breathed a sigh of relief.

PETA will be happy to know that no big birds were injured in the making of this jacket.

The museum was full of photo ops that I just couldn’t pass up; and thankfully, it was just cool enough that Florida winter day to be able to wear this amazing jacket.

I may have gone for a bit of the Willy Wonka look but when at the ice cream museum…

I must admit, my entire outfit is from I’m obsessed with that store, and even more so with this Museum.

Tickets are on sale through April, but time and space is limited. So, hurry and catch this awesome attraction!

xx Amy Lou

P.S. Our drive out of the city kept the theme of colors. Florida really has some of the more gorgeous sunsets 🙂
